Claudia Rilling is a professional painter and experienced teacher and professor both at the
college and graduate school level. She obtained her BFA from Boston University and her MFA
from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. She was granted a scholarship to study in Italy during graduate school and has been returning to Italy ever since- pulled towards the forms of the
landscape and the unique Italian light.

Claudia was a resident painter at ICA in June of 2022. She lives in the greater Philadelphia area
and is represented by Kim-Eagles Smith Gallery in CA.
