Acclaimed printmaker and artist Ian Jackson works and lives in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife and daughter. Jackson is the founder and operator of Manual Feed Press, a print studio where he collaborates with artists to produce limited editions of original art.
He also serves as the master printer at Ink Spot Press, a public-access printmaking workshop and gallery in the historic Mount Vernon neighborhood.
Jackson brings to the workshop his years of experience in the commercial printing industry, where he honed his craft printing textiles and fine stationery on an industrial scale. Community members of all experience levels come to the workshop to learn the craft, hone their skills, and edition their prints, taking advantage of Jackson’s technical knowledge and fastidious printing methodology.
He received Bachelors of Fine Arts degrees in Printmaking and Illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art and has exhibited broadly.
